CONTROL MEASURES:
Leaf spot disease:
Cultural method: Regular cultural operations, pruning and pollarding prevent the disease.
Chemical control: Application of 0.1% Dithane M-45 (1gm/1lit.) twice at 15 days interval before the peak season of incidence control the disease up to 96%.
Anthracnose of som
Mechanical control: Plucking of infected parts and destroyed by burning the parts helps to destroy the disease pathogen.
Chemical control: Application of 0.1% Bavistin (1gm/1lit.) twice at 15 days interval before the peak season of incidence control the disease up to 96%.

Chemical: Foliar spray of 0.1 % (1gm/10L) Bavistin twice in 15 days interval can check the disease up to 85.2%.

Chemical control: Foliar spray of 0.1 % (1gm/10L) Bavistin twice in 15 days interval can check the disease up to 85.2%.
Brown blight disease
Bio-control method: Spraying of Phyto-blighton the anti blight bio-formulation @ doses: 50 ml /liter of water control the disease up to 84% at the interval of 15 days.
Chemical method: Application of Blitox - 50 @ 3gm/L water
