Sericulture Marketing Centres

Marketing of cocoons is solely decided by the Govt. till date the entire cocoons produced are purchased by the primary Co-operative societies at village cluster level & sent those to the reeling Unit.

A simple method is followed depending on the number of cocoons per kg & graded as A, B, &C. The rates in different grades are fixed by the Govt. & abide by the all rearers. Payment for cocoon is made immediately. A revolving fund has been created for this purpose.
